There was a heavy frost on everything in the morning when we woke. It was just beautiful and I am loving the winters here so far. Maybe in a few years I will change my tune but this year I love it. The snow is just beautiful to me.
Grandparents arrived today, the boys had SO much fun playing. They love their grandparents and when they come to visit. I am so thankful they get to spend time with their family.
Over 12 inches of snow last night. I am loving it to be truthful. I just wish Noah was feeling better so we could have gone out and played in it. I am determined to build a snowman!
Do all kids at this age love to talk on the phone? Noah escaped with daddy's phone this evening and he was just so funny "talking" on it. Loved this picture!
Pucker up! Can you see Noah trying to give Cameron a kiss? They were playing peek-a-boo and Noah tried to give him a kiss when he popped up. They are just so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the boy's room when they were supposed to be napping. The decided a) not to take a nap and b) to throw every single thing in their cribs on the floor. Very funny. Cameron has his crib full of stuffed animals and Noah has his full of pillows. Hey, at least they don't fight over who gets what!
Can they get any cuter than this? It is so much fun for me to watch them interact each day. They are really starting to more and more and it just warms my heart. They were having a ball playing in the dining room. We had a quiet day, just played most of the day. Winter has set in and we are just trying to stay warm. Waiting for that next snow though so we can go play again.
Sunrise this morning. I just love looking out the window and seeing snow on the ground. Not crazy about 18 degrees outside but I can live with it to enjoy this type of view. :)
They are growing up WAY too fast. Both of them are wanting to drink from regular cups more and more and use their utensils. As much as part of me wants them to do this part of me is not ready. They are going to be little men before I know it. So not ready!
Noah didn't even make it home from lunch. He was out like a light when we pulled in the garage...so sweet and cute. This was the only shot I managed to get before he woke up. My sleepy little guy.
Not many pictures again today. I wasn't really in the picture taking mood. I think the -15 degrees outside has a lot to do with that. I just wanted to stay warm all day and veg out. But the little guys had other plans. They played, and played, and played some more. I think the cold weather is getting to them too. We all have cabin fever!
They drug all their stuffed animals out this morning and then preceded to lay on them. It was pretty funny. They are just so funny to me and always can make me laugh.
I truly hope my kiddos are musical. Even the lion and pig seem to be around here. :) As soon as I can find the plug to this thing they will be able to play it as well.
Nice day today but COLD! It was in the negative numbers and we all stayed inside. Even Indy didn't want to go out in the yard much. He would stand at the door like he wanted to and then when I would open it he would just look at me like "no way, I'm not going out there." I will say it's good to have my pup back...he has finally come around and I guess accepted that this is our new home. Thank goodness!
We had our first time playing in the snow today. I think it was a huge hit! I fell in love with this picture of Noah when I saw it. His sweet little face just framed in the red and white. My little guys had so much fun playing in the snow for the first time. I was sad to go in but we stayed out there for over 30 minutes and they needed to get warmed up a little. Hopefully we can go again before it all melts, although tomorrow the high is supposed to be 2 degrees! Think we will be staying inside for the day...
The boys watching it snow. They were so funny when I told them it was snowing, they ran to the couch and crawled up to look out the window (we were in the basement). I finally convinced them to go upstairs so they could see it better. Just a nice day playing and being silly. Hopefully we get lots of snow soon so we can go outside to play!
My poor child has some serious bedhead. It seemed to have been tamed for a little while but I guess the new haircut has brought it back out again. :) This was after our nap today. He, he...he was just so stinking cute I couldn't resist.
Cameron playing tonight. He loves to put the basket on his head and run around. Makes me laugh every time. We had a quiet day. Went to church, had lunch, naps, play, dinner, play, bed. Quick day. I almost didn't pull the camera out because the day just flew by. But with these 2 little guys taking pictures every day is just easy to do.
Noah's best friend in the whole world. He drags this puppy everywhere with him. I am surprised the thing has a nose left! He is constantly chewing on his nose. He's a good pup and I am glad Noah has him. It has eased many transitions and such.
So I couldn't pick just one photo today so there are two. I actually had several favorites from today but loved these.
The boys were so happy to have their daddy back home. Noah was out of sorts today but hopefully he will feel better tomorrow. Don't want my little guys to be sick! We just played and had a nice day around the house. They are both getting so very talkative!
Working on a couple of projects. I was surprised I hardly took any pictures today. We had class this morning and it was just kind of a strange day. But I did get a lot printed and cut and ready to get started on 3 different projects. Woo-hoo!
My sweet puppy that loves to lick the snow. I am so thankful he likes the snow! We were worried when we moved from Texas he would not like it at all. Nice day today, boys went to PDO and I got things done around the house. And this (the snow I mean) is what was outside all day...beautiful!
How can you resist those blue eyes? Man, today was hard to pick a photo. It was either this or Noah and his puppy. Old blue eyes wins...
We didn't do a whole lot today. The weather was yucky so we had a nice day inside with lots of playing. And destroying the house. But mommy puts it back together at the end of the day so it is all good. We had a good time and that's all that matters.
Now how can you resist that smile? I am so blessed to have two of the happiest kids. I thank God every day for that. I truly am one lucky person. Even when they are trying my patience I just have to take a step back and think about moments like this. I am one lucky mommy!
I have to laugh at my little guys playing in the kitchen. We have started washing our hands (both pretend and for real) and putting dishes away, etc. It is so cute to play with these little guys it just amazes me. They play with this throughout the day and so it is fun to watch, especially from a distance and see what they will come up with. They decided to fry some cookies up this morning. Cameron put it in the frying pan, put the lid on and put it on the burner. Now if that isn't inspiring to a mommy I don't know what is!
This is what I felt like today... My kiddos love their Mr. Potato Heads they got from Santa. It makes me laugh to see them playing with them. And of course the glasses also have to go on puppy (Noah's stuffed puppy that is). When I put the guys down for their nap this is how they had left their Mr. Potato Heads and for some reason I just thought it captured my mood for the day. Happy.
Happy New Year! And our first picture of the day for 2009...
The boys had just woken up from their nap and I was on the floor playing with Cameron. I actually didn't take very many pictures today but this one I was very happy with since I hardly ever get to be in the pictures with my babies. :) Cameron was playing "green ghost" and then I was tickling him after that. He is such a sweet and loving boy and I am so thankful to have such wonderful children!
