120/365

It still amazes me that I can go into the boy's room and they both be sleeping exactly the same way, the covers in exactly the same spot. I just want to grab my camera and take some pictures but know the flash would wake them. They are just adorable when I pop in there and they are like this. Makes it a very nice ending to an otherwise stress filled day.

Noah has started scratching again. First yesterday at PDO and then today at music class. Ugh! I know he will eventually stop but I feel terrible for the other child. He only does this in my presence from what we can tell. Some day I will find the key!

Cameron decided today was melt down day. Everything was a crisis. He couldn't keep the trains on the track, melt down. He couldn't get the car to do what he wanted. Melt down. He couldn't get the food just right on the plate. Melt down. He couldn't get the book he wanted because Noah had it. Melt down. You name it...he melted down. He even wanted out of the bath as soon as he got in. Which is WAY not like him. I am worn out...heading to bed early for a change. Or at least attempting to.

Emotional day. The boys were very good but Noah scratched another child when I went to pick him up from PDO. He hasn't done that in so long. Why can't I figure out why he is doing this when I go to pick him up? I mean, I know he is doing it to get my attention but why? How can I get him to understand he is hurting another person and he has other ways of getting my attention?

The boys were kind of crazy today. Not sure if it is because of all the rain or what but they were full of energy and bouncing off the walls it seemed. Still cute as ever though and as long as we can direct that energy positively we are just fine. Just makes it difficult to make dinner when you have one of them wanting to be chased around the house and not wanting to take no for an answer. Crazy guys!

Another extremely windy day around here. It's crazy. But people who have lived here all their life assure me this isn't the norm. Oh well. At least the rain is on it's way and hopefully the wind will die back a little and give us all a break.

The boys had a busy day. Noah has a runny nose but not sure that it is illness. I think he may have allergies. We spent so much time outside over the weekend I think that may be the reason. I am also experiencing allergy symptoms is why I think his may be as well. I haven't had allergies in so many years I forgot what a pain they are. We'll see how the week goes.

Wonderful day today. Beautiful weather, lots of stuff done and the boys seemed to have a ball. We took them to breakfast at a local pancake joint and they ate everything in sight! Cameron even ate a piece of bacon! Like grabbed it off my plate and just started munching. Crazy kid. They had fun taking the little things of jelly and butter out of their holders and stacking them.

We came home and played with the sand and water table. Have to work on keeping the sand on the sand side though. They loved putting it in the water and letting it get all thick and mushy. I laughed. They were enjoying themselves and of course didn't want to come back inside after.

I got some flowers planted in the front flower beds. We talked of plans for the yard. I even planted some strawberries tonight! Hoping they actually grow. We love around here and would be cool to be able to just go and pick some off the vine to eat.

Just a good day over all. Also remembering that one year ago today we took our trip here to visit the new place we were going to be living and house hunt. The boys had their first plane ride and it was an adventure for us all.

Nice day today. Beautiful weather but windy as I'll get out. We did play outside anyway. I went and picked the boys up a sand and water table. They will LOVE that thing I am sure. Will try it out tomorrow. :) Noah didn't want to nap again. He finally fell asleep as Cameron woke up. Poor little guy. I hope I can figure out what is going on with him. You can tell he is so sleepy but just won't sleep. Maybe I need to have him checked out? Or maybe I am just not wearing him out as much as I need to in the mornings. Hmm, will have to pay better attention to what we are doing on the days this happens.

Wow. Foggy day for me. Not literally outside but just in my head. I am so wiped out. Cameron had his three week follow up for his ears. All was well! I am so very excited. Noah didn't want to nap today and about the time Cameron woke up he fell asleep. Go figure.

It got up to 82 degrees today! I wish I would have been more alert because I would have loved to have gone outside more. It was on the windy side but I think that is just going to always be the case around here so trying to get used to it.

113/365

Nice day. We got to play outside finally so it was a wonderful day actually. They didn't want to come in as usual but it was getting close to bedtime so we had to. Man do they throw a fit when they have to come in and don't want to!

Cameron was so funny. The neighbor was out mowing his lawn and he would run back and forth with each pass he made. He did that for probably 10 minutes or so. And Noah played in the dirt with the cars and made me think about when I was a child. My little brother and I would build these big cities in the dirt and use cars, people, whatever and play for hours that way. Especially after it had rained. Then we had lakes and all sorts of other fun stuff to add to our "cities." Brought back some good childhood memories and it was neat seeing my own child playing this way.

The funny thing is Cameron and Noah couldn't be more opposite in the things they enjoy doing. For instance...Cameron loves to swing, Noah hates it. Cameron will run for hours in the yard, Noah likes to make little sprints and then move on to something else. Noah loves to play in the dirt, Cameron does for about 2 seconds and then he is on to something else. It's so funny to see these 2 little guys and how much they are changing each and every day.

112/365

I swear this month is just a blink of an eye. Just amazes me. The boys had PDO today and I caught up on photos and actually think I have finally narrowed down an idea for their baby books! I am so excited I just want to sit and work on them to see if it is going to happen this time around. Every time I sat down to do them I would just get stuck. Keeping my fingers crossed on this idea.

So I am amazed at how much food these two little guys can put away. I mean they both don't even weigh 30 pounds yet but man can they eat. Last night I thought they had eaten a lot for dinner but tonight they put that to shame. They even ate more than I did! Cameron had nearly an adult size portion of spaghetti, a few bites of lasagna, and half a bread stick. Noah (little skinny man) ate almost an entire piece of lasagna, a small portion of spaghetti, an entire bread stick and a cookie! Then later before going to bed Cameron said he wanted a snack and ate nearly an entire apple. Noah decided he wanted animal crackers so about 2 hours after they had dinner they had a snack. Man, can we say growth spurt? I am very afraid when they get older if they are already eating this much.

We went to the garden center today to buy some flowers for the yard. Cameron couldn't stop talking about it. They each picked out their own flowers. It was between the purple pansies and the Gerber Daisies. In the end they both picked my favorite...the Gerber Daisies. I love Gerber Daisies. Hoping it's nice enough tomorrow so we can plant them. They are really having fun outside and I am looking forward to being able to play out in the dirt with them.

Another rainy, cold day. So very ready for Spring! We did at least get out of the house for a little while this morning just so I could keep my sanity. Ready for the weekend I do have to admit. The boys were so good today. They played and played with their trains. We had fun building a track and even just pulling out all the stuff and playing with the buildings. Must get all 114 pictures that are on my card downloaded. I didn't realize just how far behind I was!

110/365

Rainy day but a good day. The boys took a really long nap, well, long for them these days, so I was able to get a few things done and still have a little quiet time. Wonderful thing to recharge batteries. They are so cute these days and are loving Special Agent Oso. A new series on Disney. They are glued to the TV when we have it on. Shocks me. They hardly sit still for anything so this is shocking for me. It's a cute series and we have used the "Three Special Steps" a couple of times now for things and have loved it.

Noah is talking more these days. Wonderful to hear him doing so. Noah is also making progress with some foods he usually would not even touch. He played with his broccoli tonight. I know, I know. Most people would chastise me for letting my kids play with their food. This is actually something I was told to do. He was pretending his broccoli was a tree and he even attempted to taste it so it was huge progress!

Cameron is getting better at sharing and starting to really understand when he does something he isn't supposed to. So amazing to me how different these two little guys that share a birth day are.

109/365

Today was kind of strange. It felt like a Monday to me. We went two weeks without anyone sick in our house and I am so very thankful for that. Cameron has been running a fever since last night and I am praying it is gone by the morning. Poor guy really does deserve a break! All in all it was a good day today. We played and read and watched it rain. Supposed to rain a lot this week. So much for playing in the back yard. But we did get out there and enjoy it while we could at least.

108/365

Well, I didn't get to see the boys a whole lot today other than in pictures. I spent the day scrapping and I have to say I love to look at pictures of the boys from the past two years. I can sit for hours just going through all those wonderful photos and memories. Man, and that is just two years worth, can you imagine in 20 more years what a sap I will be?

107/365

Beautiful, beautiful day. We went to the park in the morning and then played outside in the yard in the afternoon. It was pure bliss. The boys LOVE to be outside and I am so thankful Spring is finally deciding to show itself around here.

106/365

Nice day. The boys were happy to see their daddy come home and I was able to go and spend an evening with two wonderful girls having a much needed girly night. Ah, the simple pleasures in life.

105/365

I love that my boys can tell me what they want to eat from time to time. I asked them if they wanted animal crackers for a snack and Cameron told me wafers. Meaning Vanilla wafers today. Oh so sweet! And Cameron has taken to taking a bite from every single cracker he has, lining them up and then going back and eating another bite from each one until they are gone. It is cracking me up. So the picture above is him in action.

Good day today. The boys had PDO and I got lots done around the house. After their nap we played trains again and then had crazy time until time for bed. They have so much energy and it's been raining so we just run around the house like crazy people. They love it.

104/365

Quiet day again today. The boys were very good for the most part. And can I say this was the best $20 I have spent in a long time. I have been wanting to find these little vacuums for a while now and have never come across them. Well last night I happened to turn a corner at the store and there they were. Had to get them. They both love when I vacuum and will follow me all over the house. So today they got their very own and they vacuumed while I did. When we finished up they both put them away in the closet with mommy's. It was just so stinking cute! Now I just have to find them a mini broom. That is the other thing they fight over and just about knock a whole in the wall carrying around. But I think these will keep them busy for a while.

It was another rainy chilly day so we stayed inside all day. We did get out for a while at least. I felt like I got a little done around the house so it was a good day. Feel like we are finally getting back on track after the last few months of crazy sickness!

103/365

Another Monday down. Wow, the weeks go by so fast. I kept feeling like today was Friday for some reason. Maybe wishful thinking? We did a lot of playing today and Noah got his first shiner. Nothing really big but he will have a little black eye for sure. We were heading up from the basement and I guess Noah stopped and Cameron didn't so they ran into each other and Noah fell. Poor little guy! I think he fell on a plastic animal he was carrying. Will attempt to get a picture tomorrow and see how bad it turned out. And of course when anyone wants to feel better in our house these days they ask to go to Applebee's. So away we went for dinner. Applebee's makes the boys always feel better. :)

And this afternoon we played trains. They both love to lay on the floor after we finish building a track and just watch it go round and round. So very cute to watch. They both went and got their blankets and laid there watching for a while.

102/365

A nice quiet Easter. The boys had fun with their Easter baskets. We didn't go to church. As much as I wanted to I want to keep my kiddos well for more than a week. I just was too afraid to take them and leave them in the nursery. After being sick the last two months pretty much the entire time we need the break. But once it gets a little warmer we will be venturing out more and more again. Just taking it a little at a time right now.

Both of my little guys are doing so many fun new things. Every time I sit to write here it all escapes me and I hate that. But both are talking so much more and are very opinionated to say the least. :) Tonight Cameron decided he wanted to sing like the people were on TV so he went and grabbed his microphone and stood on his truck and sang. You gotta laugh at that one.

101/365

Such a fantastic day. We went to Breakfast with the Easter Bunny this morning and then headed to an Easter Egg hunt. Both the first the boys have really been to where they understood what was going on. It was so cute! And of course now they have discovered candy. Oh my. They haven't really cared for it in the past but today was a different story for sure. Hopefully the "out of sight out of mind" thing will work for a while. All in all they are pretty good and only asked for it when they could see it. Wonder how long that will last?

Tomorrow is Easter baskets and family time together. Just a nice Spring day hopefully.

100/365

Not sure why this little guy is sitting on our TV stand like this but think it is funny every time I look over that way. Always puts a smile on my face. I wonder how long he will sit there?

99/365

Had a hard time picking a picture today, there were just too many good ones. In the end I had to go with the one with both of my little guys in it. We had gone to the play area at our church to play and there were some Easter eggs I guess all the kiddos hadn't found the other day...mine found them today. Almost immediately. And they have never even been egg hunting before! I laughed. Cameron kept walking around saying "Two eggs" and I had no Earthly idea why he was saying this. Until he turned around and he was magically carrying two eggs. Then he found another three and I was wondering how many more had been left abandoned. We ended up finding six all together. They were so funny and when they discovered what was inside the eggs it was all over. I didn't want to let them eat the candy inside but they had it out of there before I knew what was going on. I threw up my hands and said oh well. They enjoyed it. Immensely. Who am I to deprive them of these little pleasures in life? Wait until the big Easter egg hunt on Saturday...they are going to be going crazy!

Our new wall in the breakfast area. Since we can't put things on the refrigerator I figured this would be a good spot for the boys to play with their magnet stuff.

Got a lot done today while the boys were at PDO and napping. Whew. I was at least able to get some things caught up and we got the final stuff in for our taxes. Woo-hoo! Not that we are really getting anything back but at least we aren't having to pay like I thought we were. Well. We don't think we do at this point. :)

Such a beautiful and sunny day today. Too bad it's cold! I can't believe we had snow flurries and it is April. Still boggling my mind.

96/365

The boys decided they wanted sour jelly beans. So this is them eating a few. Cameron actually really did like them which strangely enough didn't really surprise me. He has drank lemon juice before and asked for more. Noah doesn't look very happy here now does he.

Man, this was one of those days I could have done without in many ways. But then they do something sweet and it makes the whole day worth while. This evening Mike was eating a cone and Noah, for the first time, sat and ate ice cream. He has never been interested in it before but Daddy had it and that made it so much better. The look on his face as he sat and ate it was just priceless. It is these kinds of moments I want to remember throughout the day, not the other stuff. :)

Sunday. It was a beautiful Sunday for the most part. We decided to take a trip to Ohio to go to IKEA. Who doesn't love IKEA? I had wanted to get the boys a table a chairs for a while now and we finally did! It was a four hour car ride round trip but we had a great time. The boys did fantastic. It wasn't until we got home they started acting like crazy people. They were exhausted and over stimulated to say the least. They went to bed early so hopefully it was just they were tired and had been sitting nearly all day. But they really seemed to enjoy lunch at IKEA. Noah ate meatballs and Cameron had my pasta with meatballs. He really liked the pasta sauce. It had zuchinni and stuff in it. I am going to have to try and make something like this now because he ate half of my plate!

Beautiful day here today! On the chilly side but the sun was out and shining and the wind wasn't really bad. Ahh. I went shopping for some things for the boys for next season. We did manage to talk a walk and enjoy some sunshine and even bump into the neighbors. So happy to get out and about and have two very happy boys!

93/365

Ahhh...the surgery went well this morning. I am so very thankful we were able to have this done quickly and he did so fantastic! When we got there and they took us back the first thing they did was take him to this area with three cabinets full of big stuffed teddy bears and let him pick any one he wanted. I couldn't believe it! He picked one and carried that thing with him the entire morning while we were there. It was so cute. And of course he took it to bed with him tonight. He did so fantastic I couldn't be prouder. Although I will admit it was really hard to hand him over when he staretd crying because I couldn't go with him. Broke my heart. And he was crying when I went back to the recovery area as well. I asked him if he was hurting or scared and he said scared and sobbed and sobbed. I felt terrible! But I know it had to be done. He already is acting like he feels so much better. And he hasn't said "sounds" or "noises" once today! He must have been hurting pretty bad because he would say that nearly all day before. So thankful!!!!!!

92/365

Wow. Cameron woke up with a fever of 103.8. Poor little guy! Long story short he is having tubes put in his ears first thing in the morning. I am amazed at how quickly it all happened. I have to say I am very thankful. My little guy won't have to be in pain anymore so that is a wonderful thing!

So most of my day with the kiddos was spent in doctors offices. The highlight was getting a text message from hubby saying that when Noah woke from his nap he started walking around the house saying "brother, where are you brother." Melts a mommy's heart! I am so thankful my boys have each other. Hope they always have that special bond and want to be that close their whole lives.

Long day, sick kiddos. Hoping tomorrow is a better day.
