90/365

Cloudy, rainy day today. I spent a good part of my "spare" time rearranging the basement. It just isn't working for me and I have tried like three other arrangements already. Want to take bets on how long this one lasts? Let's see, we have been in this house eight months.

The boys were out of sorts but nothing major. I think it is the weather. Hoping they sleep through the night tonight. Loving their new haircuts. They just look like little boys again. But I will admit they look older to me now.

I'm truly starting to see them begin to interact with each other. They were giving each other kisses and don't you know as soon as I pull out the camera Noah refuses to continue. Little stinker. He did finally keep playing so I got some cute shots. The one above made me crack up when I saw it.

Cameron is really starting to use his imagination. He is turning all kinds of things into a car wash. His new fascination. He has been through a car wash twice but he talks about that all the time. He also turned his little train toy into a holder to drink his milk from this morning. So then he started calling it a "milk wash." Too funny. My creative little guys.

Oh! And Cameron ate cereal with milk for the first time today! I discovered this child LOVES Lucky Charms.

The boys played all morning with their trains. They didn't want to do anything else but play with the trains. So very fun. I even got a little done in the basement while they played for a little while. Ah...things are feeling like normal around here finally.

We took the boys to get their first local barber shop cut (they have had it cut a few times elsewhere). This is truly a barber shop and was a fun experience for us. Before I know it they will get to go with their daddy and have that special time with him. I want them to enjoy those kinds of memories with their dad. They were do cute and Cameron just hoped right up in the chair and did fine. Noah on the other hand took some coaxing. Daddy even had to get his hair cut too and he (Noah, not daddy) ended up sitting on my lap (which I of course didn't mind one bit!) to get his done. But they both look like such cute little boys now.

So hard to believe 88 days have gone by already in 2009. Wow. Flying by. Quiet day for the most part. The boys got to play with their new Geotrax system. Well, it is new to them. Sadly I discovered the lady who sold it to me failed to include a few pieces. So now I need to find a train or 2 to go with it. Since they probably both want a train to play with it will mean 2 trains. But hey, the price was right so I guess I won't complain. They have had a ball playing with it all afternoon so it was worth it.

Busy day running around. The boys are finally feeling better. It's raining like crazy tonight but we really need it so no complaints. And I always love a good storm to go to sleep to. :)

Rocky start to the day but it turned out okay in the end. We are trying to go to a MOPS group and Noah was not happy about staying in the room without me. He seemed to enjoy himself in the end but I have no idea how long he cried when I finally did leave the room. I HATE doing that. But I know they both have to learn to be somewhere without me so I know I have to continue to do things like this. Just tougher some days than others.

Tiring day. It started off okay but ended with a bang. We had music class this morning and then I decided to make an appointment to follow up and make sure the boys' ears were okay. They both complained last night they hurt but I really think they wanted kisses and they weren't really hurting. But after all that has gone on these last few weeks I didn't want to take any chances. So the only appointment they had was 1:30...their nap time. I sucked it up and took them. They did great...but nap time today was rough and then dinner at our friends was a disaster.

Cameron's one ear is still infected, not badly but still infected so another round of antibiotics...his 4th! Noah's are clearing up well and he still has a few days left on his so he should be okay.

Dinner. Ugh. I shudder thinking about it. Noah scratched the little boy's face and I feel just horrible about it. They both wanted the same toy and he still just doesn't know any other way to get his point across. And I don't know how to get him to learn not to do this. I pray we figure it out soon or we will be staying home and not venturing out to places. I seriously even considered not doing out music class next go round because he scratched a little girl in class today too. Please let us figure this out soon!

Oh my gosh the boys were so stinking cute today. This afternoon when we got back from Parent's Day Out they were walking around the house holding hands. It was the cutest thing to watch. Then of course when I pulled out the camera Noah decided he didn't want to hold Camron's hand anymore. They both are getting to where they aren't real crazy about the camera. Maybe I need to cut back a little on the picture taking. Nah...I can't help myself...they are growing up way too fast.

I sat and looked at Cameron today and was just amazed at how much older they look. I have been looking at old pictures this last week and it just blows my mind how much they have changed since just November and December. Wow. I caught a glimpse of what Cameron is going to look like as a boy or young man today I think. It was just amazing to me.

Wow, what a beautiful day. It got windy toward the end but it was so nice outside! We had to get out after the boys got up from their nap and play in the yard. I think they spent at least 2 and a half hours out there. It's going to be tough to get them to come inside this summer...or every summer I would imagine. They just love to be outside.

Ah, life getting back to normal. Such a wonderful feeling. It was kind of on the chilly side today so we stayed in most of the day. With the exception of our trip to the store. We found some plastic shovels and rakes. Yippee! They just wouldn't do well with the metal ones I am afraid. I am even afraid of them having their hot wheels cars half the time. They just haven't learned yet that throwing things like that at people hurts. ;)

But a good day over all. We had Chinese for dinner which we haven't had in a long time. They ate like crazy and even had fortune cookies and then yogurt after. Guess they are finally feeling better!

Long day again today. Noah was just cranky. Not sure if he just isn't feeling well or just tired of being in the house or what. Will be so happy to see Spring and all the new life it breathes into everything...including myself and my kiddos. Waiting patiently...or at least trying to be patient.

What an amazingly beautiful day. It amazes me what a difference a day can make. The boys slept through the night and woke up just as happy as can be. It's obvious Noah's new medicine is kicking in. Thank goodness!

Was a productive day today and we even got to spend some time outside playing. I pruned the blackberry bush and another bush I had planted when we moved in. Hopefully both will make it and be springing to life soon. So looking forward to Spring getting here in full force finally!

Long day. Noah woke at 12:30 am and basically we were up most of the night. Both of them were up and going by 6:15 this morning so they were just worn out. We had some ladies come out this morning to set some appointments and things up for the boys (starting developmental and occupational therapy) and then we had a doctor's appointment so that was our morning. They took their nap at noon...an hour early. When they woke we played a while and then of course Cameron wanted to go to his favorite place for dinner...Applebee's. That kid cracks me up with his Applebee's....he LOVES that place! Busy and quick day. Worn out and heading to bed. Praying Noah sleeps tonight. Praying both of them sleep tonight!

I have to admit I am very tired of this site around our house at the moment. So ready for both of my little guys to be better and stay that way! I feel so badly because I feel totally helpless. Noah fights taking his medicine and I just dread giving it to him. He was doing better for a while but we have been doing medicine for nearly 3 weeks now so I think he is just tired of it. I don't blame him one bit! Cameron is so good at taking medicine so at least I am thankful one of them does well with it.

Good day today for the most part. Started off rough but ended well. We went to music class this morning and then had McDonald's for lunch. Kind of has become our Thursday routine. Their class is so very close to lunch time I have found it works the best at getting them to eat something. Although Noah was so tired he didn't really eat a whole lot. They took a nap and so did I. Indy decided he didn't want to come in last night so I didn't sleep well. Silly of me to worry about my dog being outside but it was raining and I just wanted him to come in...which he wouldn't. Not even at 2:00 am! We ended the day going to a friend's for dinner and them bath and a bed time snack...cheese and cookies. What a combo. Leave it to my little guys though!

77/365

My sweet little guys playing the basement. Noah loved playing "keep it up" with the beach ball. He was "having a ball" so to speak. ;) The boys went to Parent's Day Out and then took a very much needed nap so it was a busy day cleaning house. Wiped out and ready to hit the sack!

76/365

Ahh...70 degree weather! What a wonderful thing. So very ready for Spring. The boys are doing better today. Cameron is still running a low fever part of the day so I am a little worried. But will watch him again tonight and take him in tomorrow if it happens again. We had an eventful morning and then they took an AWESOME, much needed nap. The steroids are making Noah wired and very, very hungry. But they were both so exhausted today. Praying they sleep through the night.

75/365

My little Leprechaun. So, so sweet these little guys of mine are. A day early but we had fun playing with the green hats and bracelets. Yes, I let my little guys play with jewelry. Get over it. ;) Better day today other than Noah going wild on steroids.

This was after we spent most of our day in the emergency room. Not a fun day. Cameron had been running a fever for the last 2 days. They both woke at 3:00 am and Noah never went back to sleep. Poor little guy cried for hours. Long story short I noticed Cameron was shaking and his hands were turning purple so I threw both of them in the car and off to the emergency room we went. Not a fun day. They think Cameron had a febrile seizure because of the fever. They both had ear infections and Noah has croup on top of the ear infection. Cameron just spiked a fever to 104.4 while we were in the ER so they wouldn't let us go home until it went down. Lovely day. Just glad my little guys are home and doing better!

73/365

Better day today. Cameron has run a fever off and on since yesterday afternoon. But today he was in a MUCH better mood and actually played. Hoping Noah doesn't end up with this too. I have also been running a fever but just feeling tired and no other symptoms. So thankful that is all it has been and nothing more. I took a nap when they did and am going to head to bed shortly as well. Tomorrow should be a fun day so need to make sure I am closer to 100% again.

72/365

My poor little guy has been sick again. He has been running a fever off and on since the afernoon. Never fun to watch them be sick. Hopefully it is just a fever and nothing more. And I think he is getting teeth on top of it too.

Once again the boys are becoming very affectionate even toward each other. It just makes me laugh and smile so big when they do this. This morning it started out as Noah tickling Cameron. Then they started hugging and hugging led to a kiss. So, so fun to watch!

Typical lunch for the boys. They eat more fruit than I have ever seen a child eat in my life. I guess they get it honestly. I can still remember a gal I work with when I was pregnant with them telling me saying to me that she always saw me eat a lot of fruit before I was pregnant, but when I got pregnant I ate A LOT of fruit. It always make me giggle. Our offices were right across from each other and fully glass so she could always see me. So I guess they get it honestly.

My little chefs to be. They were so cute tonight just mixing away. They would pretend to put some milk in the bowl and then try "tasting" what they were making. It was just the cutest thing ever! Aspiring chefs. Guess we will start doing some cooking now that they are more interested. I let them help with pancakes and cookies a time or two so will more often now.

68/365

Good day. Went and played at a friend's place and had a good time. The boys did so well...even when we were leaving! That was a first. No tantrums. Ahh...felt so good to tell them it was time to go and them be ready for a change. And of course got to go and play outside a little after dinner. They LOVE being outside!

67/365

Now who doesn't love playdough? The boys discovered this today and had so much fun playing with it. We are heading to a play date tomorrow where we will be making our own playdough....with green glitter. It should be fun. I am praying they do well.

I guess we were paid back today for having such a good day. It wasn't necessarily a bad day but the boys wanted to go outside the entire day and it was raining and yucky. Sigh. I guess they have to learn some how. Just wish it was a little easier!

66/365

I took 152 pictures today! Crazy me. I just couldn't help it. The boys played outside so much it was just an awesome day. And of course you can't beat pictures of boys playing in dirt or eating lunch on a patio. Just so sticking cute.

Wonderful day! The boys were amazingly good and even though they didn't really nap again were just as happy as could be for the most part. Dinner was fun, we tried a new recipe and the boys both ate it. Woo-hoo! They discovered they like to slurp noodles. Maybe I won't have to cut them up any longer, ya think? I doubt it but it sounds good in theory. Praying the time change doesn't mess us up too badly...hoping it is just what they are needing right now.

65/365

Strange day today. Started off fine but somewhere along the way the boys got cranky and the day just went downhill...fast. No nap. We did get to get outside and enjoy some warmer weather and the playground. Thankfully! Oh Spring, can you please hurry up?

64/365

I have two sick kiddos now. Took Noah to the doctor this morning and he now has his first ear infection. Poor little guys! And he picked today of all days to want to go pantless. He didn't want his pants put back on when we were getting ready for naps and he did the same at bedtime. Made me laugh and of course I had to go and get the camera. Although in the picture he looks like I am crazy for taking a picture of him. Ha!

63/365

Another two picture day. I just couldn't make up my mind between the two! Cameron is really into the hugging thing and this was just the sweetest photo ever!
But then tonight Noah decided to put on his own hat and sun glasses and was running around like a crazy man. Now how can you pass that picture up?

62/365

My little trooper getting ready to go to the doctor. He is yet again on another antibiotic. We just finished the last one Friday. Poor guy! But you know, he is such a trooper he not only let them draw blood (had to stick him twice!), he takes his medicine without much of a complaint. Such a sweet little man.

I got to start my day with my little guys telling me Happy Birthday Mommy. Music to my ears. They are just my little angels (even if sometimes their halos are held up by their horns). But it was a fun day, we had an awesome dinner and spent some time together as a family. Who could ask for a better birthday?

61/365

What I did today...make cookies! The boys helped. Well, they drew and ate chocolate chips while I made the cookies. It was fun. Cameron wouldn't eat he cookies after they were done, he just wanted more chocolate chips.

Wow, March 1st. So hard to believe we are already starting March. Here lately as I watch the boys they look like such little men. Where did my babies go? It is flying by and I want to savor every moment of it.

They turned their truck over today and sat in in upside down. Always finding a new use for things they are. Hope they keep their creative spirit their entire life.
